Entropic Communications, Inc. is a founding member of the Multimedia over Coax Alliance (MoCA), a not-for-profit organization to develop and promote specifications for the transport of digital entertainment and information content over in-home coaxial cable.

The DLNA will align industry leaders in the CE, mobile, and PC industries through digital interoperability. Industry collaboration is not limited to just CE, mobile, and PC manufacturers. It is an entire ecosystem of companies that together offer consumers a broad set of complementary products and services. An ecosystem properly designed for digital interoperability must start with the consumer in mind and include contributors that can help bring all the necessary elements of the digital home network to market. Industry collaboration must encompass manufacturers, software and application developers, and service and content providers. The DLNA encourages companies involved in all these areas to join and participate in the DLNA.

UPnP Forum Logo

The UPnP™ Forum is an industry initiative designed to enable simple and robust connectivity among stand-alone devices and PCs from many different vendors. As a group, we are leading the way to an interconnected lifestyle. The Forum consists of more than 760 vendors, including industry leaders in consumer electronics, computing, home automation, home security, appliances, printing, photography, computer networking, and mobile products. By defining and publishing UPnP™ device and service descriptions, members of the UPnP™ Forum are creating the means to easily connect devices and simplify the implementation of networks. In doing so, the UPnP™ Forum members are creating new product opportunities for their companies and industries.

The DSL Forum tailors broadband to meet the needs of the next generation of multi-media services and the online community. By forging agreements on common technical requirements and embracing new applications, the Forum works to streamline processes, define specifications, and share best practices that set the stage for effective deployments and explosive global DSL growth. ITU

ITU is the leading United Nations agency for information and communication technology issues, and the global focal point for governments and the private sector in developing networks and services. HDMI Licensing, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Silicon Image, Inc., is the agent responsible for licensing the HDMI specification, promoting the HDMI standard and providing education on the benefits of HDMI to retailers and consumers. The HDMI specification was developed by Hitachi, Matsushita (Panasonic), Philips, Silicon Image, Sony, Thomson and Toshiba as the digital interface standard for the consumer electronics market.
