Mr. Al Servati is Entropic’s vice president of Marketing, Connectivity Products Group. He brings more than 27 years of semiconductor marketing and engineering experience to Entropic, and is responsible for developing and communicating the Company’s vision and strategy around its Multimedia over Coax (MoCA®) silicon and software, Direct Broadcast Satellite Outdoor Unit (DBS ODU) technology and Broadband Access solutions. Further, he is instrumental in creating Entropic’s Connectivity Products roadmap in order to deliver long-term strategic options to protect original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and global Pay-TV service provider investments.
Al joined Entropic in 2007. Prior, he served as Division Director of Marketing at Conexant Systems, a provider of imaging, audio, embedded modem, and video surveillance applications. Before that, Al was Co-founder and Vice President of Marketing at Syntricity, a semiconductor yield and monitoring software developer. He has also held senior engineering and marketing positions with Brooktree Corporation, and started his career as a design engineer at Unisys.
Al has been at the forefront of the development and marketing of semiconductors related to broadband communications. He is co-author of two industry-focused books, Introduction to Semiconductor Marketing (2005), and The Intranet Bible (1997).
Al received a master of science degree, a bachelor of science in Electrical Engineering degree, and master of business administration from San Diego State University.
