Mr. David Lyle is Entropic's chief financial officer. With more than 20-years of financial experience across the semiconductor and commercial banking industries, Dave oversees Entropic’s financial development and investment operations; guiding the Company’s long-term revenue and profitability.
Dave has been Entropic’s CFO since 2007, when he joined through the acquisition of RF Magic, where he also served as CFO. Since joining the organization, Dave has overseen the successful integration of several merger and acquisition deals, and has been critical in driving the Company to profitable growth through disciplined investment decision-making and ensuring transparency in Entropic’s financial reporting.
Earlier in his career, Dave held several senior management roles within corporate finance, having spent time with Broadcom Corporation through the acquisition of Zyray Wireless, a WCDMA baseband co-processor startup, where he was CFO; Mobilian Corporation, a wireless data communications semiconductor start-up where he served as CFO until the company was acquired by Intel Corporation; and Intel where he held various finance roles in the microprocessor, networking and Intel Capital divisions. Dave also worked in the commercial banking industry, where he focused primarily on leveraged buy-outs.
Dave received a bachelor’s degree in business from The University of Southern California, a master of business administration degree from Arizona State University and a master in international management degree from The Garvin School of International Management, Thunderbird.
