Mr. Lance Bridges is Entropic's senior vice president and general counsel. With more than 20-years of experience in general business and corporate law matters, with a particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and financing transactions, Lance oversees Entropic’s international legal affairs and strategic Intellectual Property organizations.
Lance joined Entropic in 2007, and has been critical in executing the company's legal, governance and compliance actions. Further, he advises on all litigation matters and dealings of the Company.
Prior to joining Entropic, he was a Partner at Cooley Godward Kronish LLP. Prior, Lance worked for a regional investment banking firm as a financial analyst specializing in business valuations and M&A advisory services.
Lance was selected for the 2006 edition of The Best Lawyers in America for the Leveraged Buyouts and Private Equity Law category and the 2007 edition for the Corporate Law category. He is a member of the State Bar of California and the Business Law section of the American Bar Association.
Lance received his law degree from The University of California, Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall), where he was elected to the Order of the Coif and served as associate editor of the California Law Review. Additionally, Lance earned a master of business administration degree concentrating in finance and strategic planning from The Walter A. Haas School of Business Administration, University of California at Berkeley and graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s of arts degree in economics from The University of California, San Diego.
