Mr. Patrick Henry

Mr. Patrick Henry is Entropic's president and chief executive officer. A recognized leader in connected home innovation, Patrick brings more than 25-years of high-tech and executive management experience to Entropic. He is responsible for setting the Company’s strategic vision and provides guidance on all key business initiatives to ensure strength in the Company’s execution.

Patrick has held the position of Entropic’s CEO since 2003. Under his leadership, the Company has grown exponentially in revenue and now nears 700 employees, globally. Further, through his business and technology acumen, he has lead the Company through several merger and acquisitions that have positioned the Company for long-term growth while maintaining focus and discipline to develop and commercialize groundbreaking whole-home connectivity solutions, which has led to the Company’s global leadership position in Multimedia over Coax (MoCA) technology, Direct Broadcast Satellite (DBS) solutions and system-on-a-chip (SoC) solutions for the evolving set-top box industry.

Prior to joining Entropic, Patrick served as president and CEO of Pictos Technologies, a developer of digital imaging products; CEO of LinCom Wireless, a semiconductor company focused on Wi-Fi products; Vice President and General Manager of LSI Logic, a storage and networking semiconductor company; and as Senior Vice President at C-Cube Microsystems, a pioneer in the development of digital video integrated circuits (ICs).

Patrick currently serves on the Board of Directors of Zenverge, a leading developer of advanced content networking ICs and CommNexus, a San Diego, California-based technology industry trade association. He has also been recognized by Ernst & Young as Entrepreneur of the Year, named one of San Diego's "Top Influentials" and named Most Admired CEO by the San Diego Business Journal.

Patrick earned his master of business administration degree from The University of Southern California, and holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering, science and mechanics from The Georgia Institute of Technology.
